Vintage hand blown tortoise shell glass vase.

Beautiful honey, amber coloured glass with dark brown spots.

Kidney shaped when viewed from the top, tapering to a circular base.

Pontil mark at base. Tiny air bubbles throughout the glass, evidence of the hand blown nature of the vessel.

Measurements: 8 H x 6”L (at rim) x 4” W (at rim) x 3.5 DIA (at base)

The thickness of the glass is approximately 1/4 .

Also - I was informed by someone that this is a Christian Dior Empoli Tortoise Shell Glass Vase, and that the color and pattern are both exclusive to the Christian Dior House and of the Home Collection. However, I have no proof nor paperwork that proves this is indeed from the Christian Dior collection, nor that it is Empoli glass.
