US Military Surplus
In the 1940s during World War II, soldiers going overseas had a custom of giving accessories to their families and loved ones back home.
These were called sweetheart jewelry, and many of them featured designs of the military branch they belonged to, including rings, necklaces, bracelets, brooches, and more.

This is a locket-type charm that only includes the pendant top, but it can hold photos.

It features a heart-shaped base made from mother-of-pearl, which is a material made from the shell of an Akoya pearl oyster, with the emblem of the US Army Air Forces (USAAF), the predecessor to the US Air Force.
It has a STERLING inscription and is gold-plated with 12K gold.
It has two photo slots.
It's a very luxurious design.

While there is some overall dullness and minor scratches on the back, the hinge still moves smoothly and there is no notable damage other than age-related wear.

It does not come with a chain, but you can use the 40's dog tag chain I have listed separately, although the color may be different.
This is recommended for those who want to stick to the same era.
I will offer a small discount for bulk purchases.

I also have other types of sweetheart jewelry listed.
