This filter housing is used on 3/4 main water lines (cold only) at the point of entry. Sitting atop the filter housing cap is a red pressure relief button, which vents excess pressure inside the housing to make installing Culligan replacement filter cartridges a breeze. The filter housing's cap also features a built-in shut off valve, so you will not have to install one in order to replace your filters.
