As far as the marking goes, I’ve been able to determine the brand/maker and where it was sold. This is most likely a spoon/ladle/knife/utensil holder or a paperweight as it’s quite hefty. From the back of it, there’s a marking that defines the amount of silver used (5g) for the plating as well as the province (FI) and the maker/brand (Bruni).

There’s also a sticker that’s almost faint. “Gioielli Fontana Varese”. Upon checking, this is a High end store in Italy.


Couldn’t find the history of the maker itself other than the usual italian hallmark.
