Heavy duty vintage jewelry box with thick blue fabric lining. Legs are shaped as lion heads with the feet of lions paws. Beautiful piece. There is no markings on the box anywhere that I can find. Went over it with a strong magnet and the bottom (base) is the only part that is magnetic along with the screw inside the hinges. From the research I did trying to find information on the history of this piece it looks as if it's from the late 60's to early 70s and very similar to pieces created by the International Silver Company.
The dimensions are roughly 7 wide from paw to paw and 6 1/4 wide from the top, the depth of the box itself is about 3 , the box has a depth of about 5 1/4 and a height of just under 4
