Overview: Up for sale is an absolutely incredible oil painting on stretched canvas. Painting looks to date from right around 1900, possibly earlier. It depicts a landscape scene with an castle on an island in a river. Incredibly executed. It is signed Josephine Smith at lower left. I have found a few action records under that name, but unsure if this is the same artist. Painting is stretched, but unframed.

Condition: Painting is in fair condition, commensurate with age. Painting has a number of tears, areas of fraying, as well as significant edge wear.

Measurements: Painting measures 20 inches high x 10 inches wide.
