There's not a lot of information on the Internet about these things. All I can come up with is that they are from the 80's and they originated in Japan. I've seen a few others for sale online but they are branded with AT&T or other corporations that gave them out as gifts to their employees. This one does not have any markings like that on it. All of the accessories are intact. The tape dispenser still has the original tape on it. This is a super cool gift to give someone who loves 80's things or nonsensical, ridiculous novelties.
